Creating Sharepoint for Individual data view RRS feed

    Hello,

    I work for a Service Desk where the scores of individuals need to be shared with individuals.

    I mean to say that Data of One cannot be shared with other.

    I need help in achieving this using sharepoint and excel. Where Excel which will have the detailed data will act as a database and sharepoint a front end.

    Hi hameed,

    You can achieve this by adding item level permission on each excel files you uploaded on SharePoint.

    Upload individual Excel files on SharePoint Doc Lib and give only owner to access it by selecting manage permissions on that particular document.

    So others will not have access to that item.

    You can show this excel sheets in EWA web part and only individual users can see their own data.
