  • Hi,

You cannot do this. Please refer to this link: How to permanently disable Auditing in Windows 10?

  • Hi,

You can do it with third party tools (at least there used to exist tools), and you can clear/delete all other event logs except the Security which WILL log an event that the log was cleared, this cannot be changed as far as I know.

If you don't want an event for all the other logs, you can do the procedure below:

If you want to clear the Security event log, do the following steps:

    1. Open an elevated PowerShell window.

    2. Type the following:

    New-EventLog -LogName Setup -Source Test

    3.
    Then type the following:

    Remove-EventLog -LogName Setup

    Result:

  • Only for the Security log yes, the other logs can be cleared without an event logging.
