Group Policy Applying But Not Working RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have MBAM setup, GPOs have been configured and we can see in the Event Viewer on the client machine that the GPO is applying correctly. However, the user is never prompted to start the BitLocker process. It does come up if you open the MBAMCLIENTUI.exe however. We have the GPO set to 0 days for the BitLocker GPO is terms of non-compliance grace period.

The BitLocker GUI should come up relatively soon on its own, no?

  • Hi,

check your registry hklm\Software\Microsoft\mbam  you should something like noncompliance detected for your volumes if policy is applied correctly.

  • If a Client does not have BDE Partition then the Bitlocker wont kick start no matter what you do .
