I can see it, but blank when printed RRS feed

  • I recently upgraded to Office for Mac 2011 but documents that were created in my old version 2009 Windows are able to be seen, but when I go to print preview or print it is blank.  If I email the document to someone they can open it, if they send it back then I can print it.  Any ideas on how I can view and print what is in front of me.  I also tried copying and pasting into a new document in the new suite but it does it, but still will not be there when going to print it.   Please help.
