Volumes no longer visualized in disk manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • dpm 2012.

We took our dpm down a couple of weeks ago and added som memory.

When it went up again, it didn't seem to logon to the SAN-ports where the diskspool resided.

We got it up and running again by simply re-attach the patchcables to the san-switch.

Now however, I can't see any volumes on i ServerManager>Disk management in the bar.

Everythings seems green anyway, the volumes are present if i click properties on the disk and select volumes-tab, but on the bar that showed all the volumes i can now only see the amount of space thats free, which is accurate.

I wouldn't worry too much if it wasnt for dpm complaining that "no more space for recoveryvolume" starts to show on more and more datasources during backup. Could this be related?

  • stupid.

We just crossed a amount of volumes where Disk Management snapin doesnt renders the volumes pane at our screen-resolution, viewing DM in 1920x1080 turns them visible again...
