While Installing Vista RC2 the setup hangs at “completing installation” then reboots and you get the error message saying install did not complete restart computer and start install.
I’ve noticed a lot of people seeing this issue and many of them have a Promise SATA host controller installed. I did too, so I removed the Promise host adapter and everything works now.
