  • Hello

    I have found out that the culprit was Internet Explorer 9.

    I have uninstalled IE9 and the console is now working again :)

  • looks like you have too strict security settings for internet explorer. do you enforce any security for the Local Machine zone? you can check with RSOP.MSC and Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/Security Page/Local Machine...

  • Yep thats true , TMG & IE9 does not play well together.

    The Product Team is currently looking into this issue.

  • Best solution might be: Install SP2 (from Windows Update) hereafter the TMG Management Console works without Script Errors even when IE 9 is installed.

    :-)

    Kind regards

  • Other option is to edit a file.

    * Open "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway\UI_HTMLs\TabsHandler\TabsHandler.htc"
      * Search for the 3 lines which contain "paddingTop", and remark-out each of them by adding "//" in the begining.
      Example: Change the line:
    m_aPages [niPage].m_tdMain.style.paddingTop = ((m_nBoostUp < 0) ? -m_nBoostUp : 0) ;
      into:
    // m_aPages [niPage].m_tdMain.style.paddingTop = ((m_nBoostUp < 0) ? -m_nBoostUp : 0) ;
      * Save the file, and re-open TMG management console.

    AFter that TMG will work in IE9

    This solution works very fine and is a lot more efficient than downgrading IE.
