The notification is for an account that is no longer available RRS feed

  • I am getting the following message on the Microsoft Authenticator App.

    "The notification is for an account that is no longer available. You may need to add the account again."

    What causes this? I added the account again but same problem.

  • vijisankar - I can re-produce the problem by changing settings in the Azure MFA Server desktop application.


    Go to the [Company Settings] 

    Select the [Reports] tab

    Uncheck all check boxes

    You will experience the issue

    Check all check boxes and try again - no issue

    I couldn't say if this is a bug in Azire MFA server, the phonefactor web services or the authenticator app but somewhere along that chain something is not working.

    Can you test this and confirm behaviour?
