Outlook 2007, Delayed mail sending RRS feed

  • Question

I work for a small company and we are trying to send emails (via Outlook 2007) at a future date. (We make and send Birthday cards for our employees, sort of a morale boost.)

In Exchange 5.5, you were allowed to send delayed emails and close your program (and when the time came, it would send itself). Once we upgraded to Outlook 2003, we could not do that anymore.

Now I am upgrading the company to Outlook2007, and what I want to be able to do is send an email to go out on a future date, and not have to remain logged into my outlook (in order for it to go out).

Is there a way to fix this problem?

I take it that this is not a possibility, based on no responses?
