Outlook 2007 Connecting to Exchange 2007 Problems RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have the exchange 2007 server hosted in my office LAN. Before going onto windows 7 it works fine with outlook 2007 everything is ok. After I've setup the windows 7. I've tried

    1. Manually configuring it with the correct settings. (Without Outlook Anywhere). When it attempts to load it will give me the Error Microsoft Exchange Server unavailable
    2. Using the autodiscover service, it uses the rpc over http functionality. IT works

My question is is there anyway not to use rpc over http, when i try to access the out of office assistant on the outlook it gives me an error connecting to Exchange server.

So far from what i've read all is about hosted Exchange server that requires rpc over http. My case i need it to run without rpc over http

  • Hi,

It seems to be more of Exchage Server configuration, I recommend you to post your question in Exchange Server forum to get a better resource.

    Best Regards
