Error "You do Not have permission to send to this recipient" #5.7.1 RRS feed

  • I have inherited a SBS 2003, running Exchange 2003.  I setup a External Contact card in AD, and configure that any e-mails sent to an internal mailbox be delivered to the External "contact"

    Here's the thing it works for any administrator user but not for "terminal server" restricted users.  These users have a GPO that disables tabs and features like toolbars and SHUTDOWN.

    Can't figure out why this isn't working.

  • On the internal mailbox and the external contact's "Exchange General" in the Exchange AD Users and Computer tab make sure there aren't any settings configured in "Delivery Restrictions".  Also check the Mailbox Rights to see if there is a "Terminal Restricted" group assigned to it that may have some sort of deny permissions applied to the contact or mailbox in question.
