could not measure video playback performance RRS feed

  • I have the same problem with my PC , but it is not old 

    Motherboard: GA-MA770-UD3

    CPU : AMD ATHLON II X3 435 ~3GHZ 

    Ram : 4096MB DDR 2 800MHZ


    When I start the windows exp. index It works 1 minit , and in the  middle it stops , and it writes this  " could not measure video playback performance" please write a response as soon as you can .

  • Have you checked that your BIOS version supports the CPU you have fitted? See http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2982# and note that there are several revisions of the GA-MA770-UD3.

    Have you installed the latest Catalyst driver from http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx ?

    please open the file "C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\winsat.log " and look for errors. Which error do you see?

  • I did run into this exact issue and the problem ended up being that I had to be logged in as a local administrator on the computer to get it to finish the assesment. Running this while logged in as a non-local admin and doing a run as administrator failed.
