  • Hi,

Windows 7 is running Windows Media Player 12. I wonder if you want to restore WMP11 library to WMP12? What error message did you receive?

First, please arrange your library in Windows Explorer. Right click Libraries in Windows Explorer, choose Restore default libraries. Then, modify the library in Windows Media Player. Click Organize -> Manage libraries -> Music, remove all folders except the default one. After that, try to add the folders again.

If the issue persists, I suggest reinstalling Windows Media Player to check the result.

    1. Click Start, type turn windows features on or off.

    2. Open Media Features, clear the option for Windows Media Player.

    3. Restart the computer, check the option back.

    Best Regards,
