Row high after Rollup Milestones RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Forum Member,

I have maybe a easy problem but I have not found a solution.

After I marked some Milestones as a "Rollup" Task - all the rows in the schedule (1600 rows!) are now much to high then they should be. I would expect that only the Summary who shows the Rollup Milestones are higher - but not all.

    Do I think wrong?

Thanks in advcance for your support.

  • Hi,

When you say they are higher, what exactly do you mean?

  • Hi Jan,

please give a look to the pictures:

    This is the normal view:

This is the view I have automatically if I activate the Rollup of some tasks:

    The Rollup looks like that:

    Any idea?

  • Hallo Toby, der Jan here.

I see you have been messing around with Bar styles (since right of the task bar you now have the name of the task instead of what looks like the finish date)

So go back to Bar Styles, task bar.Look at the fourth column (in English Row). It stands for Row Height. Doesnt it show 2 ?

By the way, absolutely nothing to do with Rollup or not!

  • Hallo Jan,

I have in the "row" column always 1 - see picture.

But, I have modified for Rolled Up Milestones that they shall have the Name on the Top and the Finish on the Bottum.

    May that's why?

    Danke und Gruss

  • Hallo Toby,

Yes, I think that's why. Whenever even one task bar has text on top and/or bottom, Project increases Row Height to accommodate for it. Sorry!
