IE page keeps expanding without control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all.

When I start IE, the page on display seems have a mind of its own. It will spontaneously expand itself to 1500% and the only way of halting it is to remove the mouse cursor away from the internet page. Once the cursor is on the page  again it will continue to expand. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does I have to reboot the pc it to get rid of it. I have removed the mouse from the computer but that didn't solve the problem.

I am running Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and using IE8

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

You can take the following steps to troubleshoot:

    1.    Did this issue occur before? If not, you could use System Restore to get back to a previous time point which Internet Explorer 8 worked fine.

    2.    Please boot into Safe Mode with networking to test this issue.

    3.    Check Internet Explorer 8:

    Hope it helps.
