Modify Headers in IE7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I need to modify browser headers in IE7, can anyone help.

I should point out that I'm not a web developer so simple steps would be very useful!

I know this is poss in firefox but can't find a way in IE7.

I have loaded the developer toolbar but I'm still a bit lost.

I'm recording a synthetic transaction through IE7 and need to direct the request directly to the web servers instead of through the loadbalancer and hence need to add a header in the browser.

    Any ideas would be great.

    Thanks

    Alan

  • I've actually used Proxomitron but this is unsupported and I need something that can be put into production.

Is there no way to make this change natively in the IE7 browser?

FiddlerCore  can be used in C# but I know even less about it.
