    Hi!
    Word isn't saving documents. It just makes an endless loop. I looked online for the solution and tried starting it in safe mode and renaming the normal document. Opening in safe mode didn't help and when i tried to rename the normal dotm document, it just created another endless loop.

    UPDATE: renamed to OldNormal but still not saving documents

    Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair)?

    Hi,

    Does this issue happen with all Word documents or just certain documents? If it only happens with certain documents, we may try to copy contents from one of the documents to a new one and then try saving.

    To which format are you trying to save the documents? What if we try to save the documents in another format?
