How to Hide column headers in Vista's Windows Explorer? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to hide column headers (like Name, Date Modified etc...) in Windows(Vista) Explorer. I can uncheck all column headers except 'Name'  by right clicking on the column header. But 'Name' field becomes disabled after all but it was unchecked. I really don't want to see the column headers as I know what I want to see.

I am using the default Vista Theme (Aero) and list view in Explorer

    Any help appreciated!

  • Hi

I don't think there is a way to accomplish this in Vista?

There may be some third party tools available that can do this, but I have never seen any?

    Hope this helps.
