  • Hi,

    First question:

When you are patching your environment you have to patch all the servers. You can first patch one web server and then the other server but you can't run the SharePoint Configuration Wizard before all patches on all servers are done. During patching your environment will be unavailable so choose the time you start patching carefully. With most clients patching will occur in the weekend.

    Second Question:

Yes you have to run the SharePoint Configuration one at a time on every server when all patches are completed.

Edit: Mistake by me you have to run SharePoint Configuration on every server as said by PWMather.

    Hope it helps.

  • Hi John.Eddie,

You will need to have an outage on the Project Server environment. Install the update on all web / app servers in the farm at the same time then run the configuration wizard. The config wizard will need to be run on all servers but one server at a time - run it on the server running Central Admin first. See the link below:

  • When running the config wizard it will probably complain about a missing patches on the other server/s in the farm. I would avoid this as a mistake :)

    Thanks
