Basically, a few weeks ago i encountered a performance lull in my computer, the only game I play is world of warcraft and i noticed a massive increase in loading times. Now my HD light is always lit up solid unless it loading something, program or loading
screen when there is the slightest of flickers, no windows is also very slow.
I have checked my resource monitor and the HDD is constantly showing up to be reading and writing using svchost.exe (LocalSystemNetworkRestricted) a file in my warcraft data file called art.mpq, even when the game is not running it reading at at rate of
321B/min and always increasing.
When looking at processes there is nothing irregular.
I realize that it looks like a problem with the game but i did a full uninstall and the svchost.exe (LocalSystemNetworkRestricted) then began looking at other file at vasty increasing rates.
If anyone could shed some light on this problem id be most greatful, thanks in advance
Chris
