Starting with a clean install. with a
Bios set to factory settings
system
amd athlon 64 processor 4300+
1gb ram DDR400 pc3200
128gb seagate HD
nvidia geforce 6600
boot from vista dvd install starts
enter product key
starts installing and after the first system reboot when the completing installation screen come back the system freezes up on me.
tried x number of times and the same thing.
I only have keyboard/mouse/monitor plug in. not plugged into network.
Help
I have followed a number of other threads so I know I am not alone.
ps checked my system with the ms vista advisor software and all was ok
