Email sent from Outlook but took one day to reach Exchange RRS feed

  • Outllook 2013 configured with an OST with Exchange 2010 Server

    At 11:30, an email was sent from Outlook and received at 11:30: OK.

    At 11:35 another email was sent from Outlook and received the next day.

    At 11:40 a third email was sent and received at 11:40: OK.

    In Outlook, the second email appears in the sent items as being sent the same day at 11:35.

    On Exchange, the mail tracking reports that this email was received the next day.

    With Outlook Web Access, the email is in the sent items and reported as being sent the next day.

    There is no errors anywhere, no synchronization errors with Outlook. How may I troubleshoot this?

  • Hi Pierre,

    Were the three emails mentioned in your thread sent to the same recipients?

    How about resending the problematic email? Will the issue be reproduced? This helps eliminates whether the problem is related to any particular messages, such as a mail with a large attachment. 

    By the way, how did you tell the sent time of the message in Outlook?
