Portfolio Analysis Surplus/Deficit versus Requirements Details RRS feed

  • Using Project Server 2013 on-prem.

    Could someone help me understand why, when I run an analysis, I'm seeing significant deficits for certain roles on the deficit/surplus report, but there are no deficits shown for those same roles on the Requirements Details view? Furthermore, when I add additional resources using the "Hire Resources" feature, none of those resources go to the roles I just mentioned.

    So how can there be such deficits identified, but zero projects showing up as "Not Selected" as a result of deficits within those roles?  For what it's worth, I'm running the analysis against ALL projects, so it can't be a case of demand sitting out there somewhere that I'm not seeing.
