  • Hi bblackman,

    Welcome to our forum.

Could on-premise user send emails to Internet?

Could On-Premise used send emails to new created user in Office 365?

For sending emails from On-premise to Office 365, we should create send connector in On-premise and create receive connector in Office 365:

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn751020(v=exchg.150).aspx

In addition, please check if there are any errors in application log and post them for our troubleshooting.

  • Run a trace of Office 365 side, see what it shows. Probably some issue with the connector.

  • Jim,

    Thanks for the reply.

If I create a new AD user, and sync to AAD, I get the same symptoms.

I will use the connector information you sent to see if the connectors the wizard created are set up correctly.  I hope to do that testing before the weekend.

    Thanks

    Bblackman
