MDT for SCCM RRS feed

  • If my company already have existing SCCM Task Sequence setup and used as production for sometime. when I setup MDT and configure to integrate with SCCM, will it affect the running of existing Task Sequence.

  • It won't effect your existing OSD task sequences.

    Many questions such as where do I find logs and what logs are interesting are found in: MDT TechNet Forum - FAQ & Getting Started Guide Please take the time to read it. Also if you don't post logs your problem won't be easily solved.

  • Thanks for the answer.

    And so if I have SCCM Console in my Windows 7 machine and I install MDT and then run the integration with SCCM. Once I created a new Task Sequence based on MDT. In order to run that MDT task sequence during the build, do I need to install MDT into my SCCM CAS server or Primary server.
