Strange issue when restarting DHCP Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

I've created a superscope which contains only disabled scopes.
During the migration from our Old Dhcp (2003) to the new DHCP (2012), I follow these steps:

    • Enable the scope in the superscope
    • Remove the scope from the superscope

Everything is working fine BUT when we restart the DHCP Server service, some scopes are 'come back' into the superscope.
Theses scopes are the "migrated scopes".

    An example:

I create the scope 192.168.187.0/24 and move it to the Superscope "_TO_MIGRATE".
I enable the scope 192.168.187.0/24 and I remove it from the superscope "_TO_MIGRATE".

I restart the service "Dhcp Server" and I check where is the 192.168.187.0/24 scope...
    Answer: in the superscope "_TO_MIGRATE"

    Anyone has an idea?
