Disabling "The destination server is unavailable." error messages RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

when using a Enhanced Generic Client Application (Socket Forwarder) and one of the servers or port which are configured is not available the error message "The destination server is unavailable." is displayed.

In the Web Monitor a message like "A connection with application xy cannot be established on trunk: xy; Secure=1. The application server address is 1.2.3.4:9999. The session ID is 3E6AA7D9-B332-4D7A-8EEF-E0B12876195E. The process name is ABC.EXE. The process hash is F7ED7FBDD56368B88DA17C136EE203E3160505AC351AA201878DAA26E327FBF3. The error code is Timeout."

The question would be if it is possible to surpress such messages as the servers might be high available or just not reachable for maintenance purposes (this is especially problematic if you are using something like opening a socket automatically after login for automatic updates). We have tried to create a custom application and use a special flag for the userrights setting (surpress message box) but with now success.

    Best regards

    Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

I don't think that is possible.
