SFB doesn't show chat line or user's info RRS feed

  • Question

  • One of my users having this Skype issue.

It only showed the screen like the screenshot (missing name, title, and chat lines)

I tried to suggestions from these but no luck

    Delete SFB cache files: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\sip_UserName@Domain.com
Perform a clean boot on your computer: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
If the issue persists, please try to repair office, then test again.
Install the latest update for your SFB client.

User previously had this on the old laptop, we setup a brand new one and this issue starts coming back. 2 laptops are different brands, all drivers are up to date. Windows 10, 1909. Office 365 E3 subscription. Skype for Biz 32bit (latest version)

Also tried to disable the hardware acceleration - no luck.

Office Online repair - no luck

Can anyone help me on this?

    Thank you!

  • Hi Ricky48,

Can you provide us the screenshot of this problem? Does it like the following image?

You can check if this user makes use of the EASE OF ACCESS—Display SETTINGS—Make TEXT Bigger feature and increase the text size to some number, such as 110%, 125%, this issue will happen. If so, this issue may be recovered by dragging slide to 100%.

The display settings are as follows:

If it is no luck, this user can try to delete the profile and create a new one.
