Why can't I copy a DVD if it is not right-protected? RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I am not getting a protected error or any other type of error message.  It copies the DVD to the desktop with a .bup and .ifo extension.  Then I get an error that it cannot open the file and when I attempt to copy it to a blank dvd, it only shows it in the windows media center and not as a dvd.

Please help if you have run into this problem before and have a solution.
