Using PNG instead of GIF on the Login Page RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've begun customising the UAG login screen for the trunk (We only have one trunk) I've attempted to add a PNG to the CustomUpdate folder and then use that as a background image in the CSS. However when I use a PNG the file is not picked up, if I use a GIF it works.

    Any ideas why?

  • Hi Danny,

If you'd check the UAG Web Monitor you would probably see a rejected request for the PNG file.

Open the trunk's Advanced Configuration window, go to the URL Set tab and take a look at the rule named InternalSite_Rule24. You will see that it only allows GIF and JPG file extensions in the /InternalSite/images/CustomUpdate directory.
