  • Have you noticed if these apply to a particular Service Request template, or could these be Service Request or Activities that are created by a workflow or runbook?

  • Hi Matthew

    thanks for your reply!

The Runbooks are created with PS and then applied to the SR.

It happens to different types of SR Templates - absolutly random and not for every SR of that particular SR Template

  • Hi,

Have you reviewed the event log?

  • hi

the eventlog shows the same error message:

A Windows Workflow Foundation workflow failed during execution.

    Workflow Type: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ServiceManager.Applications.ServiceRequest.Workflows.ActivityStatusChangedWorkflow

    Workflow Identifier: 879b9c51-aba4-3f8c-2131-1a277df3f531

there is one more Error Message in Eventlog that is in range of +/- 3minutes of the time the workflow failed.

And this Error happens many times. I dont' think this is the reason. It seems to be something with SCOM:

An exception was thrown while processing GetManagedEntitiesByManagedEntityTypesAndCriteriaWithInstanceQueryOptions for session ID uuid:d7fb636a-d9e5-44bd-9cba-d413cf679275;id=806.

It seems to happen with UR9 too.

    thanks!

  • I found out another WF is failing.

    DisplayName: Activity Status Changed Workflow

    ErrorMessage in JobLog:

Error 777980010, severity 16, state 1 was raised, but no message with that error number was found in sys.messages. If error is larger than 50000, make sure the user-defined message is added using sp_addmessage.

The other error is still Happening. but thats the workflow with the displayname: Activity Status Changed

any ideas please? this Problem is preventing some SRs from running properly.

    thanks!
