Unable to create 2nd Trunk in UAG RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have an UAG Server(Single Server) hosted in DMZ with one Public IP and one trunk. when i tried to create second trunk i got an error "IP address is already in use".

I got one more public IP and added to an external NIC card as an additional IP, still i am not able to select this new IP while creating 2nd Trunk, it's not allowing me to edit the IP as well.

    Any help?

  • Hi Vinod,

If I understand correctly, you have 2 IP addresses configured on your external NIC, but in the UAG console, in the IP address drop-down list of the Create Trunk Wizard you only see one IP address.

Please click the File menu option on the UAG console and then click Reload Configuration. This should update the UAG UI with the added IP address.

  • Also, it's worth pointing out that there must be 2 NICs in the UAG configuration. Not one, not three, but two!

Further, as the Pythons would say, "Four shalt thou not count" :-)

  • Hey Ran,

Was the two NICs and never more decision/supportability statement ever confirmed?

    Cheers
