  • Hey,

To access OWA from external (outside the network), you must purchase and use a SSL certificate from a provider like godaddy.com

godaddy.com is provides economical SAN certificates that you can use for your external OWA/ActiveSync/RPC over https and so on.

Internal Certificates are no good for outside the network and will introduce plenty of authentication issues.

Step by Step help to request a cert in E2013 - http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/4773/generating-a-certificate-signing-request-csr-exchange-server-2013

    All the best!
