Installation Problems

Question
-
I'm running windows 10 pro (32 bit) and I want to install the 64 bit version of windows 10 pro. the processor is a 64 bit processor, the pc has run another 64 bit OS, however when I try install windows 10 (64 bit) it says the app cannot run on this pc. I have been able to install windows 10 pro (64 bit) on the pc before (blank HDD) but I ran into a problem with the product key. The product key is a OEM key that was automatically activated with the windows 7 installation disk. How do I install windows 10 pro (64 bit) while using the product key that was pre activated in the win 7 install?

You have to perform a Clean installation-there is no in-place upgrade path from 32 bit versions of Windows to Windows 10 64 bit.

Hi,
Starting with the November update, Windows 10 (Version 1511) can be activated using some Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 product keys.
To confirm if your key is valid, please read this article:

Please use the Media Creation Tool to burn the media, and then do clean installation of Windows 10 version 1511.
To get Media Creation Tool, access this address:
