Save my lync contacts in my personal contact folder on the Exchange server RRS feed

  • I want to disable Save my lync contacts in my personal contact folder on the Exchange server, but the check box remains greyed out even after loggin into Lync

  • Which Lync Version did you use. Check you Lync Clientpolicy for the Parameter EnableExchangeContactSync

  • Agree with Holger, you can disable it using the set-csclientpolicy and setting EnableExchangeContactSync to false.

  • There is a problem with the EnableExchangeContactSync policy setting. If a user has the 'Save my Lync contacts...' checked and then you change the CsPolicy setting to False, the Lync client continues to save the contacts to the Exchange mailbox. The setting on the Lync client is greyed out however it remains checked and enabled. The client policy will not change the state of the existing setting.

    Does anyone know where this client setting is saved? It's not in the local registry. It's on a server (Lync or Exchange) somewhere.
