Microsoft One Note no longer showing up RRS feed

  • Question

  • Previously, we had One Note pinned to the bottom task bar. Just today the icon disappeared and I am no longer able to pin it to anything other then the app start menu. Has anyone had this issue and is there a way to re-pin it to the task bar or make some short of shortcut to the desktop?

  • Do you have anything else pinned to the taskbar? is that still there?

So can you see One Note in All Apps from Start Menu still so can right click and pin to More > Pin to taskbar? What happens anything any errors?

  • Other items pinned to the task bar include a camera program, Microsoft edge and google chrome. One Note had been pinned since getting the computer several months ago.

One note only shows up if you select the start menu (windows) and look through the apps there. It doesn't show up in the programs at all. There are several older people who use this computer and it is easier for them to find it having pinned it to the task bar. They're a bit shaky on using the apps version

  • Hi

Please run this: Explorer Shell:AppsFolder to open Applications folder.

Find the OneNote and then right click to Pin to start or Task bar to check the results.

If this issue still persists, please try to rebuild Taskbar icon catch and try to pin the application again to check the issue:

    Open CMD as administrator:

    cd /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer attrib –h iconcache_*.db del iconcache_*.db start explorer
