Like Response Group but without Enterprise Voice RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

Is it possible to create in Skype for Business 2016 (S4B) enviorenment something similar like Response Group (RG), but without EV (Enterprise Voice)? Or what might be the best solution?

I ask this because we plan to use S4B in SiteKiosk PC (using local restricted account) to make calls to a group of client consultatns. It should work like RG (call queues etc.).

    With best regards,
    Silvo Link

  • Hi Sisalink,

Welcome to post in our forum.

Would you please tell us did you mean you want to call many consultants in a group with SFB client, without enable enterprise voice?
Did you want to use PSTN calls for it ?

For your requirement, it’s impossible to achieve this goal, you must enable the function of enterprise voice for the user and then you can use PSTN call.
The following document describes Lync enterprise voice, please refer to

Hope this reply is helpful to you.

  • hello,

the very first question should be

do you want to external user to access that response group when they call, or internal users only?

  • Hi Sisalink,

As Alice wrote, agents have to be configured for enterprise voice to be a meber of a responsegroup.

If you only want to use this for a web application you can use the rtc-launcher from Luware

    https://www.luware.com/en/products/#rtc-launcher

You don't need pstn access for the users to activate enterprise voice for the users.
