Downloading Trial RRS feed

  • I signed up for the 60 day trial for Project Professional 2013 and it gave me a key for it. I hit English and download and it did but it downloaded as an img and wont open. Why cant I install Project for my computer after it has downloaded?

    Unfortunately, the Microsoft Project 2013 trial software does not download as an EXE file.  Instead, it downloads as a disk image (IMG) file.  If you your PC uses Windows 8, you can double-click the IMG file and then unzip the contents into a folder.  From there, you can locate the EXE file and install the software.

    If you are not using Windows 8, you will need to download a software application that can unzip IMG files.  I personally have used the 7-Zip software successfully a number of times.  I do not work for this company; I have used it and like it.  It is a free download, as well.
