Configuration Manager 2012 Client SP1 Client on core server

Does anyone know why Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 client supports Windows Server 2008R2 Core edition and not Windows Server 2012 Core edition?

To my knowledge 2012 Core is supported by SCCM 2012 SP1.
I think it's just the documentation, that isnt updated.

Thanks Ronni, any other consideration I should be aware, I find very hard to find documentation regarding configuration manager client installations on core servers? For example Software Center, Configuration Manager Properties and so on.

Installing the client on a server with a GUI and no GUI is the same.

In Windows Server 2012 you can even add/remote the GUI during deployment, so it's the same OS.

Just deploy the client, like you would deploy the client to a server with the GUI enabled.
