Configuration Manager 2012 Client SP1 Client on core server RRS feed

  • To my knowledge 2012 Core is supported by SCCM 2012 SP1.
    I think it's just the documentation, that isnt updated.

  • Thanks Ronni, any other consideration I should be aware, I find very hard to find documentation regarding configuration manager client installations on core servers? For example Software Center, Configuration Manager Properties and so on.

  • Installing the client on a server with a GUI and no GUI is the same.

    In Windows Server 2012 you can even add/remote the GUI during deployment, so it's the same OS.

    Just deploy the client, like you would deploy the client to a server with the GUI enabled.
