MapPoint 2010 error: faulting module and faulting msvcr90.dll, RRS feed

  • Question

  • Here is my situation:

I re - installed Mappoint 2010 because it encountered a problem.  I cleaned the registry as well, taking extra care in the process. Now mappoint is ok, but a business home made application is failing to launch properly while another app is a-ok. Mappoint is the pre requisite for both home made apps.

I provide you the Events that are linked to the problem. This first event here occurs 5 seconds before the second event that I provide here too:

    1-Faulting application [xyz].exe, version 1.15.1.0, faulting module msvcr90.dll, version 9.0.30729.1, fault address 0x0006c955.

    2-Faulting application MapPoint.exe, version 17.0.19.2900, faulting module MapPoint.exe, version 17.0.19.2900, fault address 0x00318bda.

    Thank you for any help!
