Office 2010 Activation Error 0x8007000D and 0xC004FE00

    Question

  • After a reinstall of Office 2010 Prof and the program tries to activate the product key. It failed Internet activation with error code 0x8007000D. When I tried to activate from the phone option, activation wizard let me choose the county but it will not show the phone number to call or the installation ID.

Tried to call Microsoft and got transferred 3 times then the agent told me they need to charge me $99 to fix my problem.

Anyone have a solution for this issue?

    Thanks

  • Hi

For error code 0x8007000D, this is caused by a registry error or an operating system issue.

Follow the steps that are mentioned in the article below to see if it helps:

As the Activation Wizard doesn’t provide a phone number to call, would you tell us which country or region you are in?

You might also refer to the link below to see if you can get a phone number with the methods it mentioned:

Since we only give technical advice when you try to install and activate Office, we recommend to contact Microsoft Customer Service to verify whether you can transfer your Office program:

  • Hi Tylor,

I am from Canada. Not only the wizard not showing the phone number, it does not show the installation ID as well.

When I try to call Microsoft Customer Service, I got transferred 3 times and then someone told me that he cannot fix it unless he charge $99 for the 30 days Office warranty.

    Thanks
