Scroll bar in Windows Explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I launch Windows Explorer in Windows XP, the scroll bar in the right-hand pane would always be at the top of the window.  However, in Windows 7 the scroll bar is ALWAYS at the bottom of the screen.

Is there a way to make the scroll bar to default to the top of the screen instead of the bottom of the screen?

  • Hi, thank you for posting here.

The scroll bar in Windows Explorer of Windows 7 should on the top of windows by default. What have done before this issue appear? Please try to restore your pc from a backup point.

Also try to login with Safe Mode or Clean Boot to see if the same issue occurs.

    Hope it helps.
