  • Hi,

    Generally, the explanation for backup in Properties of disk is "This option will back up files on the drive" while the explanation for defragmentation is "This option will defragment files on the drive". As you described above, these two explanation mixed up on your computer. What is the version of your computer? Does it seem to be normally before? What is the brand of your hard disk? Please help to collect system information and give us a screenshot.

    Collecting System Informaton

    1) Click the Start button and type: msinfo32.exe, then press Enter.
    2) Click File and click Export.
    3) Save to the desktop named SystemInfo.txt
    4) Open this file and paste information in this thread.

    Insert a screenshot

    1) Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard.
    2) Click the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter.
    3) In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste", click the "File" menu, and click "Save".
    4) The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot".
    5) Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click “Desktop” on the left pane and then click "Save".
    6) Upload this picture to SkyDrive ( www.skydrive.live.com ), then edit what you reply with HTML.
    7) Insert the following code.

    <IMG height=600 alt=08 src="URL of the picture" width=800>

    Note: URL of the picture = the URL to the picture that you want to post.

    Best Regards.

  • I had some language packs installed for testing purposes on a 7 RC partition and accessing help files from the main help program would still be in english no matter what language I had selected. When I posted the issue an MSDN subscriber uploaded a screen shot showing the help program displaying the same language as the one in use. Just an example of how an issue was solved since the language pack was revised for buld 7600 rtm. Having said this there may be a chance that this issue was addressed and will function properly in the rtm build.

  • That looks to be a problem with the way the .mui file was compiled. The only fix for this is if the discrepancy is reported and a revised language pack is distributed.
