  • I have tried the solutions provided to turn the bit-locker off.

    1. Command prompt basis

    2. Power shell bases

    Symptoms :

    1. I clicked on the drive which is locked, it unlocks when entered the password. But when i try opening it is says "Disk is not accessible

    Parameter is incorrect"

    2. I tried turning off bitlocker in control panel it shows device is not ready

    3. When used Command prompt / power shell is says "An error occured (code 0x80070015): The device is not ready"

    Not sure how to remove the bit-locker

    According to your description, it is recommended that you first try to fix this error based on the following method:

    1. Run command prompt as an admin and type chkdsk /F on it fixed the drive errors.

    2. The device is not ready: How to fix this PC error.

    When the repair is complete, try to remove it again and check.

  • "Parameter is incorrect" was the typical error message, when you tried to open a bitlocked drive with an older version of Windows 10.
    You are not perhaps booting from old installation media?
