  • Dear all,

After stuck this issue few week, finally i solved it.

I could like to share here.
    Root of Cause:
MY Development Share > Operating Systems > OS Installation Files > Window 7 x86 install.wim was missing in directory folder.

    Solution:
Copy Window 7x86 bits DVD files into Server >  Import Operating System in Full set of Source File .
Once you success Import OS Files > Update the Deployment Share > and regenerate the Boot.wim file.
If still fail, please check the Window Deployment Services > Boot Image > Window PE File....

Thanks for all the reply when i face this issue.

  • first we need some more info or we can't help you.

what MDT and ADK version are you using?

what OS are you trying to deploy?

did you change anything to the tasksequence?

  • Copy the bdd.log file to a public share like skydrive and post the link here.

Additionally, if this crashes in WinPE, press F8, and run the following command:

    cscript z:\scripts\ltiapply.wsf /debug:true /debugcapture

And let us know the line number it returns back.

Now, I cant looks my deployment share unable to test anymore.

    Even i try deployment Update.
    Problem still same.

  • Whoops, looks like you grabed the x:\minint\smsosd\osdlogs\bdd.log file rather than the c:\minint\smsosd\odslogs\bdd.log file.

Once MDT creates a new partition with ZTIDiskPart.wsf, the log files will be copied from the temporary X: drive to the C: drive (now that it is available. However the old x:\...\bdd.log file will remain around for a while to cause confusion :^(.

  • Easiest way to solve this. Use the image media to open CMD prompt and reformat the hard drive by typing this into the command prompt:

    1. diskpart then enter
    2. list volume then enter
3 select volume X (should be your c drive or hard drive) then enter
    4. format fs=ntfs quick label=test then enter

Then boot from media with image on it and run through the process again. This is what worked for me. Hope it helps!
