TPM readyness RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I still have problems implementing correctly TPM 2.0 with Windows 8.1. After talking with MS we enabled UEFI+Boot secure. Before doing that, our TPM was working with reduce functionality.

So I set these settings in the BIOS. But the problem is the installation is failing. When Windows is getting up, I went to TPM.msc and foud "TPM is not ready". So this is the problem. After a reboot we are going in the BIOS and reset the TPM.

The technicians showed me at the first installation Windows Boot manager is not appearing the boot menu. But after the installation it is appearing. Not sure what it is mean.

Then on the second try it is working...

I really don't understand. How being sure, with the task sequence, TPM 2.0 is ready? If its not then how making it ready?
