Server Share DP in SCCM

Question
-
Hi All,
I have a single Tier Hierarchy with SMS 2003 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 SP2. And the SQL Version is SQL 2000 with SP3.
And in the same hierarchy I have 4 other Server Share DPs on App servers with Windows Server 2003 (No SP).
I will upgrade my Single tier hierarchy to SCCM 2007 with SQL 2005. The only question I have is whether my Server Share DPs will work in SCCM 2007 or not even though I don’t have any SP on those DPs

Server shares are still supported in Config Mgr. Windows 200o as site systems is not supported. Windows 2000 SP4 is supported as a client.

that's correct, but hopefully you are not installing any win2k3 servers without any SP :-)

According to the documentation, SCCM site systems are not supported on Windows Server 2003 without a service pack. They must be Windows 2003 SP1 or greater. See the general supported configurations page (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd547071.aspx). So I believe the 4 server shares on Windows 2003 (no SP) would need to have at least SP1 applied.

As Kent indicated, site systems are not supported on Windows 2000, they can be clients. Check the supported configurations link I posted earlier.
