  • Question

  • Hi,

Can someone tell me if the following versions of 10 are End of Life and are no longer receiving Security or Critical updates please?

    Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.16299

    Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.14393

    Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.15063

    Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.16299

    Windows 10 Enterprise - 10.0.17134

I have seen a lot of articles suggesting that the top 4 are. I just want some re-assurance.

  • Hi Daniel.

The Microsoft Knowledge Base article 13853 describes the established and of service for the different Windows 10 versions.
I can state for sure that Windows 10 Version 1511 (build 10586) and Version 1607 (build 14393) have reached the end of service, as you can read at

  • Windows Phone development must continue. As an IT professional and MS Partner with several certifications, I have spent years convincing enterprises and individual clients to utilize Windows Phone. Windows Phone 10 is the best phone on the market, bar none. In our family tree alone, we have 14 windows 10 phones; ranging from 640XL's to 1520's to several just purchased 950XLs. If MS can devote resources to interfacing with Linux, Apple, Android and other competing OS's, surely it can provide the resources necessary to continue support for the millions of Windows 10 Phone users worldwide. Please make this happen. Thank you. Bill Quinn. Anchorage, Alaska
