copy a projects of project server RRS feed

  • we have 10 projects in project server we have to make copy for all of them with some different prefix in the same server . how it is possible ?

  • Unfortunately, Yes. You will need to open each & save it with different name. As far as I know, there is no tool/automated way which can copy the project & upload with different name. You may need to create you customized application if you are looking for automation of the process.

  • HI there--

    You can connect to project server from Project pro & open the project(s) , click on File > Save as  ("Save to project server" window )& provide the new name. It will create a new project on server with new name.

  • that means we need to do one by one with all projects if we have 100 projects and then upload again with different name ?
