  • Hi,

    Thanks for your question.

Any error information when deny accessing the folder share?

Please check the shared folder’s share & security permission for specific users and computers.

Furthermore, we could refer to this docs (https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/help/318030/you-cannot-access-shared-files-and-folders-or-browse-computers-in-the

    • The Computer Browser service is not started or is turned off on one or more computers in the workgroup.
    • File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks is not installed or is blocked by Windows Firewall.

  • Hi BUNDITH,

    Thanks for your update.

The error happened after above TCP/IP setting was reviewed?

In the same subne, non-VPN clients can access the server share?

Please telnet server IP 445 & 139 to check the shared server's SMB port 445 & 139 are open and available from the client. We could refer to the following link to do testing.

To check if a port is open

Please Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.

Please also check intermediary network devices such as router or edge firewall across the VPN connectivity if the security policy and rule configured to block the net share traffic.

Highly appreciate your effort and time. If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let me know.

    Best regards,

    Michael
